mindless doodles.

I got a new computer. YAY!!!!!
I screened all these cheesy college movies as a little welcome to this fabulous piece of circuits and motherboards, followed by dark punk rock/glam rock inspired movies and documentaries which is pretty much what I have on my mind right now.
I collected some pictures in the last few days for inspiration.

Its sort of a huge jumble in my head right now. I will treat myself to some David Bowie videos.

i wish i was made of granite.

Just because I want to take up meditation and switch my subjects from Business Studies & Accounting to History & Political Science, doesn't mean I am turning into a 'hippie freak who believes in freak-ish stuff' (I HOPE YOU READ THIS MOM, DAD AND FELLOW CLASSMATES).
I just want to broaden my horizons and actually study something I like. I don't know if this change on my part will turn into another pathetic mistake that backfires in my face but I cannot keep on dwelling on the past and stop taking chances. I'd rather sit all alone in a dark room protected by a zillion armors, afraid to breathe in this cruel world with its bacteria filled air and eczema infesting slums.
I haven't been able to read much except a short-stories book by Jeffery Archer. I haven't been able to do much of anything except learn the advantages of entering a Joint Venture and not backstabbing your stronger, more efficient partner EVER.
I did make a Journal though, after reading a post at the Teenage Construct and also going through my VERY embarrassing and hilarious journals from 8th and 9th grade (Also on Live Journal, when I thought writing is so overrated). Why did I ever stop keeping one? I was such a GIRL. My obsessions ranged from Ben Barnes to weight loss to lack of an internet connection to EDWARD CULLEN. I have so many pictures of Narnia, Twilight, Hilary Duff and James Bond?
I made lists of fictional hot guys and complained about attending a lousy extra math class where they made us use an abacus to do calculations. Also I hated my family for being so self centered and ignorant. Nobody even bothered to know about my excellent grades or the boy who teased me in class *sigh*.
Thus, I HAVE TO record these fascinating yet bothersome years of my life. Plus I love decorating my Journal with pictures of Hugh Grant and other awesomeness. Pictures coming soon.
Meanwhile I will try to catch up on the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week that ended yesterday. I hate my internet connection.

not again.

Exams are ruining my life. I keep dreaming about all the fantastic things I will do after I am done with this torture. I need to plaster my walls with some more of my creativity, get lace curtains and cushions for the window seat, work on my book (I KNOW RIGHT) and read as many issues as possible of Rolling Stone.
Also, I discovered TWO very unusual libraries near my house and want to visit them only after I am free of all buderns and worthy of such a pure place.
Meanwhile, I read a chapter of this enchanting book between my Math exercises.

The situations and problems that Riley, Alice and Paul have to face are quite mundane, however, they create an exquisite world of their own, where every tiny little problem seems like a huge hurdle. Its the way the words are woven together in this book, an ever lurking sadness in the background that stays even when everyone is sound and happy. It seems as if you are inside the character's head and viewing everything through their imagination, where every moment is exaggerated ten-fold giving it an odd magical quality. Its annoying, how at times Alice is TOO shy and gullible while Paul can be TOO much in love and overly dependent, contradicting his original personality.

To curb my huge tiny bubble of anxiety (see : EXAMS) that at times erupts out of nowhere, I decided to watch a movie along the lines of optimism and 'nothing is impossible'.

The Art Of Getting By.

(what the hell happened to
her??)

It had an opposite affect on me. Why should I waste time getting good grades and doing something I don't like when we all are going to die in the end anyway? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE? WHY ARE BUTTERFLIES COLORFUL?

I need to go, find-the-purpose-for-my-existence crisis.
Laterrr.
